Development of Herbal Anthelmintics in Korea (Ⅱ)

Abstract
|

|
Based on the results previously reported(Report Ⅰ.), anthelmintic activities of meliae Cortex and Seasonal Variation of Santonin Content of Artemisia maritima were invertigated in accodance with the years research program.
The results obtained in second termed year were as follow:
Ⅰ. Anthelmintic activites of meliae Cortex; 8 Kinds of Fractions, separated from the root part of melia Smdarach L. var. Subtripinnata MIQ., were screened bilogically with nerve muscle of Eisenia foetida. Acidic abstances is confirmed as most effective principles.
Ⅱ. Seasonal variation of Santonin Content of Artemisia maritima.
Santonin Content of Artemisia maritima with seasons which cultivated in WAN-JU district, CHONRA NAM-DO and their growing rate were examined and compred with japanese products.
Flower-heads and flower-buds demonstrated 1.46% of Santonin content in maximum and also, matrue of growth of domestic Cultivation progress slowly abaout a month then that of later.
